+Built-in quad array LED light with 3 brightness levels provides convenient low-light illumination
+4K60 video recording with 2x slow-motion capability and dual aspect ratio options (16:9 and 4:3)

Worth Knowing
No in-camera video stabilization; HyperSmooth stabilization only available after transferring to phone via Quik app, limiting preview during shooting
Poor low-light image quality due to tiny 1/2.3-inch sensor; detail heavily smudged in darkness despite built-in light
Very limited manual controls and customization options; restricted to point-and-shoot operation with minimal creative control
Small rear touchscreen makes navigation frustrating and unreliable; impractical for image preview or precise framing

Read our notes on general
The GoPro LIT HERO is GoPro's smallest-ever action camera designed with creators, vloggers, and on-the-go shooters in mind, packing advanced features like HDR video and detachable lighting into a body that weighs just 93 grams. It captures 4K video at 60 frames per second and supports 2x slow motion playback. A quad array LED light is integrated by the side of the lens and capable of providing soft, even fill light for low-light scenes, ideal for selfie video, vlogging or quick interviews. However, it suffers from a small screen, cramped menu, no in-camera stabilization, and the optics aren't great.
