Premium pricing at $449 places it among most expensive action cameras on market
Limited photo capabilities due to small sensor; photo quality becomes smartphone-like in low light

Read our notes on general
The Insta360 GO Ultra captures immersive POVs in 4K60fps while weighing just 53g, featuring a 1/1.28" sensor and 5nm AI chip for low-light clarity. With the Action Pod, you get up to 170 minutes of recording time, and all video output—whether timelapses, regular footage, or night footage—is very sharp and detailed with excellent color and smooth-looking motion. Though designed primarily for video, the Go Ultra struggles with anything under 18 inches for close-up shooting and lacks built-in storage, requiring a microSD card purchase.
