Read our notes on general
The Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II is Nikon's second mark II lens for Z-mount mirrorless cameras. The pro telephoto zoom is much lighter (and a fraction smaller) than the original, features a removable Arca-Swiss compatible tripod collar, and offers better close-focusing skills and improved optical design, especially bokeh. Autofocusing is approximately 3.5x faster, and AF tracking performance with zooming is roughly 40% better than the current NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S. While it costs $3,199, representing a significant jump in price from its predecessor, it achieves the lightest weight in its class (998 g).
