What We Like
+World's smallest and lightest full-frame 7x zoom lens at 413g and 93.4mm length
+Excellent 7.14x zoom range (28-200mm) with half-life macro (0.5x magnification) all in one lens
+Powerful 6.5-stop 5-Axis Dual I.S. 2 image stabilization for sharp handheld shots
+Virtually silent linear motor autofocus and focus breathing suppression ideal for video
+Compact size with matched gimbal balance eliminates need for rebalancing when switching lenses
+Dust, splash, and freeze-resistant with fluorine coating for outdoor durability
Worth Knowing
Relatively slow variable aperture (f/4-f/7.1) limits low-light performance and shallow depth-of-field capability
Sharpness improves noticeably when stopping down; edge and corner sharpness requires smaller apertures
Some ghosting and flare issues reported when shooting directly into bright light sources
Minimum starting focal length of 28mm may be narrower than preferred for wide-angle landscape work
