General

About This Lens
The AF 60-180mm f/2.8 FE is a compact and versatile lens for Sony full-frame systems, designed as a professional telephoto option without the size and weight of traditional 70-200mm F2.8 lenses. Weighing just 730 g, it is the lightest in its class, while the constant F2.8 aperture ensures consistent exposure throughout the zoom range and provides excellent control over depth of field, making it ideal for low-light environments, smooth background separation and video work without exposure shifts while zooming. Together with the AF 14-24mm F2.8 FE and AF 24-60mm F2.8 FE, the new lens completes a truly lightweight zoom system, covering the entire focal range from 14mm to 180mm using just three lenses.
