What We Like
+World's first 200mm F2 full-frame mirrorless lens with outstanding optical performance
+Exceptional sharpness at F2 aperture with beautiful, creamy bokeh across the entire frame
+Fast, silent HLA autofocus with excellent subject tracking and eye-detection
+Powerful 6.5-stop optical image stabilization with dual modes for general shooting and panning
+Professional-grade build with weather sealing, thermal insulation paint, and Arca-Swiss tripod collar
+Affordable pricing compared to first-party alternatives and historical 200mm F2 lenses
Worth Knowing
Heavy at 1.82kg (64.2oz) - fatiguing for extended handheld shooting without support
Not compatible with teleconverters, limiting focal length flexibility for sports/wildlife
Sony E-mount version limited to 15fps burst rate due to Sony's third-party requirements
Prime lens with fixed 200mm focal length offers less versatility than 70-200mm zoom alternatives

The Sigma 200mm F2 DG OS | Sports is the world's first 200mm F2 telephoto prime lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Among Sigma's sharpest lenses to date, it's sharp when wide open, beautifully built, and whether for portrait, weddings, events, wildlife, or other creative telephoto work, this lens is among the best pieces of glass ever made. The linear motor HLA provides accurate, high-speed AF, and the 6.5-stop image stabilization supports comfortable shooting.
