General

About This Lens
Sigma's flagship 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II | Art is Sigma's flagship lens that has evolved significantly from the previous model by incorporating the most advanced technologies available to Sigma from design to production. The lens has further improved resolution throughout the zoom range with high sharpness throughout the entire image from its maximum aperture, even on high-resolution cameras. The body is approximately 7% smaller in size and 10% lighter in weight than the previous model, while improving usability by adding an aperture ring and two AFL buttons. It's a nice evolution of Sigma's extremely important standard zoom for Sony E and L-mount shooters that does stay competitive with Sony's G-Master line by following the trend of becoming lighter, faster focusing.
